Mike is a creative and unique artist that works in both wood & stone.

Appreciating the natural beauty of the grain in each piece derives his sculptures.

At age 28, Mike has had the wonderful opportunity to live in and travel through many parts of Canada.  He grew up in Thornhill, Ontario and most recently lived in Calgary, Alberta where he has been developing his craft with stone.

Completing a degree in Native Studies and Philosophy at Trent University in Peterborough, Mike understands that art can provoke emotion in both the mind and heart.

Currently, Mike is working out of his home studio in the Town of Greenbank just outside of Uxbridge and Port Perry, Ontario.  If you would like to come by and see some works in progress or visit the Greenbank Gallery please call ahead.  If you are interested in some lessons Mike will be running some seminars.  Please call or  email for more information.

Mike would be honored to personalize your choice of artwork.  Vases, sculptures, wine holders, paddles, and candleholders are great gift ideas for weddings, anniversaries or birthdays and corporate gifts.

Make your gift truly unique with a Mike Stamper original and inscribe it with something special from your heart
